An estimated 5.4 million children around the world live in orphanages, the vast majority of whom are not actually orphans. Over 80 years of international evidence shows that growing in and harms children’s development and subjects them to increased risk of all forms of abuse. The long term cost of society is monumental and sadly, entirely unnecessary: more than 80% of children’s institutions have at least one living parent and many of whom, with the right support could care for their child. 85% of the children in residential care in Uganda have an identifiable and traceable family

The Ntale organization is seeking to resolve most of the occurring challenges so as to make a child grow up in an environment with genuine love, care and protection. Just as a group of trees take time to grown so as to be known as a forest, we at the Ntale organization are ready to take the necessary actions needed to resolve these challenges and how this will be orchestrated is by taking things step by step;

Provision of a conducive environment not just for them to seek shelter but at the same time get taught in all aspects; in class and also some practical work for research has shown some of the children may not perform so well in the classroom but are rather talented in handy work like pottery, construction, carpentry and so many others.

For those with families we plan on reuniting them with their various families and at the same time provide the necessary support needed for the child or children to grow up in a conducive environment.

A follow up will be done to check on the progress of the child or children and in case of any further challenges the child or children will be taken back by the organization for proper upbringing and caring.

Protection will be provided to all children and those who report to be abused in any form will be helped through our counseling programs and cases will be built against those responsible for imposing such inhumane actions on the child or children. Help in the form of scholastic materials, sanitary pads, fees and many other things will be provided to children that need the assistance.

With these solutions in place it will ensure most of the orphans will have the ability to build themselves a future worth living and as a result cases of child abuse that is mostly occurring to the orphans will gradually reduce.

This is not the best we can offer but for the start this is the best we can start with and as time progresses more solutions will be drawn up enabling orphans to live a well deserving life without a need for them to keep watching over their shoulders.
